How the automobile claim process works:
1. Report the accident to your insurance agent or company.
2. Call United Coach Works at 781-322-8058 to arrange for an inspection of your vehicle.
To help us process your claim, we need:
Name of insurance company paying the repair bill
The claim number
Insurance company contact name and phone #
Need a car rental? We will help make arrangements for one to be available when you drop your car off.
Some items needed when renting a car:
**Valid drivers license – you must present this to the rental car agent.
**Credit card – even if the insurance company is paying, rental agencies require a credit card for security.
**Claim number – We will give it to them if we already have it so that they can directly bill the insurance company.
If you elect to take additional insurance coverage from the rental company, realize that the charge is "per day", not for the duration of the rental. Also, this charge will be your responsibility, as insurance companies do not pick up additional coverages purchased.
